Jaguar Land Rover

PURPOSE
Commotion were asked to create an emotive and thought-provoking film as Jaguar Land Rover surprised the lovely Dorothy Peters, aged 88, who worked at the original Solihull Rover factory in 1948 in the service department.

As the brand is turning 70 they wanted to take one of their original employees on a hair-raising journey in one of the original Land Rover models on the off-road testing track.

 

CREATIVE

We created an extremely engaging video as we looked back into the past of the Land Rover brand and community and celebrated a woman with such passion and vivid memories of the brand all those years ago.

 

RESULTS

The content has been distributed across Jaguar Land Rover’s website and social platforms with a reach on Facebook of over 16M.

Three national titles requested the exclusive on it before the embargo date. It ran in the Mail online and in many other titles – none of it was paid for advertising.

In May 2019 the film won four Brand Film Festival awards: one Gold, two Silvers and a ‘Best of the Best’ award.
