Westminster Abbey

PURPOSE

To create a set of beautiful films to showcase the breath-taking architectural space of the new Queen’s Jubilee Galleries opening in Westminster Abbey. The footage needed to resonate with visitors but also media and promote the fascinating objects on display.

Westminster Abbey wanted to increase visitors to the galleries whilst promoting the incredible views and journeys up to the galleries.

 

CREATIVE

We produced stunning footage shot on gimbals and sliders to enhance the vast space and magnitude of the Abbey. Creatively, we wanted to draw attention to the new areas of the building whilst promoting the historical relevance of original features. We interviewed the curators of the galleries about some of the incredible artefacts the Abbey owns. We also re-versioned select shots to create social assets for further promotion of the exhibit.

 

RESULTS

The films were promoted widely by Westminster Abbey to entice visitors to the space. National news websites also ran the content in the lead up to the galleries opening. The three videos offered a fantastic kit of parts for the Abbey’s marketing team and we loved working in such an iconic building.
