Jaguar Land Rover


Commotion were commissioned to produce a short film that centred on the community who helped the Jaguar Land Rover Halewood plant thrive since the launch of the Evoque seven years ago.

The team were briefed to bring to life the local stories in Halewood. We needed to give genuine insight into the surrounding community intrinsically linked to the brand and celebrate the launch of the new Evoque in 2019.



We filmed at 5 different local businesses in South Liverpool to understand the impact that Jaguar Land Rover has on small companies. We spoke to a range of people from Head Teachers to Chip Shop owners and built a narrative around the JLR plant and its impact on the community. Cut together, the 5 interviews allowed us to portray a whole host of characters and stories in a clear, succinct way.


The corporate edit has been used as a talking point in over 20 company meetings to celebrate the growth of the car and the brand. The team also promoted the content via LinkedIn and Facebook and engagement has been fantastic.
